It was indeed a deeply cherished objective of our South-East Province to establish a CBSE school. The purpose was to shape future leaders by providing excellence in education through innovative teaching, and comprehensive development of every student, nurturing a healthy intellectual and natural environment. Therefore, after considering the various options and possibilities, the provincial administration decided finally to start a CBSE school on the campus of the provincialate as there is sufficient land to develop a better infrastructure and there are road facilities for easy access to the school. Consequently, the provincial administration appointed Fr. V. Yesu Raja, MSFS as the first principal and he worked out ebulliently and diligently prepared everything needed for starting the classes.
As the classrooms were not yet ready, the classes for Pre-KG and LKG were conducted in the provincial house itself. There were 45 students in these two classes. Then the provincial administration decided to construct the first phase of the school building with 25 rooms. Fr. A. Dharmaraj, MSFS laid the foundation stone in 2015 and the work progressed steadily and got completed in the following year. The new school building was inaugurated and blessed in 2016 by Fr. A. Dharmaraj, MSFS the provincial, and then, the school continued to function in the new school building till class VIII. Fr. S. Joseph, MSFS, doing pastoral ministry in Germany, had supported this project with a generous help from one of his parishioners.
However, when Fr. A. Santhiyagu, MSFS took charge as the procurator and correspondent of the school in 2017, he initiated the process to apply for getting official permission order from the government. He made strenuous efforts to prepare the application and the documents needed, and after him, Fr. S. Sahaya Jeral Abin, MSFS was appointed as the principal. He followed up the process and obtained the recognition order in 2022. Moreover, the enrollment of students in the school kept increasing and there was need for more classrooms to start classes IX and X.
Therefore, the provincial administration, under the leadership of Fr. K. Ignacimuthu, MSFS decided to construct the second phase of the school building with 5 classrooms. The new block after its completion was blessed by Fr. K. Ignacimuthu, MSFS the provincial on 15 June 2022. The first batch of class X appeared for the public exam in 2023 and secured centum result. Now the school has 600 students from class LKG to class X, and today it is one of the popular CBSE schools in the vicinity of Trichy Metropolitan town.

Developments at various times
The eclectic interest of all the fathers and the staff serving the school and their relentless commitment contributed to the elevation of the school to be an epitome of quality education and discipline, shaping the character of pupils. The fathers were solipsistic in their approach and ebulliently dedicated in leading the school to its glorious success. As it is rightly remarked, the destiny of any nation is shaped in the classrooms, focusing on excellence in value-oriented education is the primary objective of SFS school. Our missionaries strive to achieve this goal by working relentlessly and in synergy. A conducive atmosphere for intellectual exposure is created in the school, promoting the students’ formation in spiritual and moral values, imbuing them to cultivate the virtues of gentleness, compassion and optimism. The students are trained in responsible leadership skills and professional ethics, and they are motivated to develop their individual talents in sports, games and work experience, and thus the young generation is equipped with the skills needed to be agents of social transformation. Furthermore, with the unwavering efforts of our fathers, the school was given the Christian Religious Minority status as per the governed regulations (Article 30. I). This is very beneficial for those children who aspire to have better education and blossom gracefully with their full potential. The school management had provided transportation facilities by operating school buses to the adjacent villages within the radio of 20 kms.
To inculcate experiential learning, Teach Next digital classrooms are introduced for all classes from kindergarten to class VIII. Interactive boards were installed for classes IX and X, implementing standard Pedagogy and thus ensuring strict adherence to the National Curriculum framework. Abacus classes are conducted regularly by which the students can develop their mental abilities and deepen their intellectual thinking. As the Libraryin the schoolis like a window that opens students’ minds to the outer world, a well-equipped Library with a reference section is established with sufficient books, newspapers and magazines. The school management made serious efforts and established various labs like Science Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology with the latest instruments, specimens, charts etc.; Math Lab with the necessary kits and tools which helps the students learn and explore various mathematic concepts and become autonomous learners; Computer Lab to learnabout Information Technology and digital competence, and Language Lab to enhance the students’ skills of reading, speaking, and listening through various software modules and exercises. There is also a special room for promoting the students’ physical well-being, and they can access this facility to nourish physical and emotional well-being. There is an Art Room created which is a creative hub that offers the students an opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities, including drawing, painting, poster making, and sculpting. The students get Audio – Visual Education once a week in which film shows are arranged in compliance with the government requirements. The administration had developed a spacious playgroundin the school which offers the children the opportunity to be involved in physical exercises by using various equipment like swings, slides, climbers and various games and thereby developing a sound mind in a sound body. Moreover, Career Guidance Counseling is organized periodicallyto create awareness among the students about the availability of various career options. Experts from different fields are invited to motivate and guide the students, which helps them to make the right decision at the right time according to their talents and interests for a bright future. The Fransalian missionaries along with the staff members are sedulous and munificent at their efforts in developing the school to be effulgent by imparting quality education, discipline and moral values.
