The long awaited dream of the people of Vinayagapuram of Adanur parish became a reality on 2nd January 2018, as the Church was blessed and dedicated to St Antony by the Archbishop of Pondicherry – Cuddalore Most Rt. Dr. Antony Anandarayar. It was a joyful occasion to witness the opening of the Church by Rev Fr Santhiyagu in the presence of many priests and nuns and the lay faithful. The beautiful church was built with the generous contribution of the Archdiocese of Pondicherry, the South East India Province, the well-wishers and finally the cooperation of the people. I sincerely thank everyone for their kind encouragement and prayers.
