In 2004, SFS Matriculation Schoolsaw its birth in Virudhunagar. It was the result of strenuous efforts of Fr. J. Stephen, who was the parish priest of Pandian Nagar. Now it has reached up to 10th standard. There are 1378 students studying in the school. With the growing number of students and the consequent needs, the construction of 5 more class rooms is completed in 2012, taking the number of total class rooms to 45. This new block was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. A. Dharmaraj, the Provincial on 08 September 2012. The main building has been completed with weather ceiling and painting. The school has 9 vehicles for transporting the children. It has become necessary to increase this number due to the growing demand and pressure from the government regarding the court-laid safety norms. Compound wall has been completed for half the area.
